Sabrina is a beautiful soul who has been given an incredible gift of nurture. I came to know Sabrina as our doula for our 2nd and 3rd child; it was a truly a blessing to have her as our midwife for our 4th child born at home.
— Monica zatarski
From my very first appointment with Sabrina, up until the ending of my pregnancy; she made sure I was well cared for. At all times I felt that everything was my choice in regards to my experience. Not once did I feel my opinion was not valued or my voice not heard.

MY PROMISE

I desire to make midwifery accessible to all families that are low risk and desire this this specific type of care.

Birth has many perceptions…

About Me

the midwifery vision

Birth is not something that I stumbled upon. I distinctively remember as a young child being fascinated with birth and having intentions of being an OB doctor. Wow! I have come full circle. I gained an understanding of the difference between OB philosophy of care and the midwifery model of care. I personally love the autonomy that midwifery provides. I embody the principles of self-awareness, transparency, independence, and umoja the Swahili term for unity. All of these make Birth in Color Midwifery a unique practice serving the community.
